DO NOT do business with TIM DAMON or Mercury RE. He is bogus and will try to steal your personal information. He actually phoned me from a Hospital because he did not want me to have his cell number. No replies from him after sending my information. There are complaints with the BBB and Attorney General. You have been warned!
My sister contacted Mr. Damon regarding a listing for a three bedroom apartment in Gardner MA. After meeting with Mr. Damon at the location she expressed interest in the property. He told her that he would need a money order or a personal check (however, a personal check would need to be from a local bank) for the amount of $230. Mr. Damon stated that $200 would be for the “deposit” and $30 for the application fee. My sister then asked if a bank check would be accepted (as they are better than a personal check or money order), after some back and forth conversation he agreed. On September 29, 2017, My mother and I drove to my sisters bank and my mother acquired a bank check for the sum of $230. Mr. Damon then asked my sister to meet him at a grocery store in Fitchburg to receive the check. My sister then over the last two weeks received one phone call from Mr. Damon informing my sister that she was one of a few prospective tenants for the location and while it looked hopeful he suggest she not “put all of her eggs in one basket”, and one text message at 11:30pm, claiming to be in the office, asking if she was free to talk. She has not heard from him since, not even after we had a real estate lawyer contact him. My sister also had a friend inquire about an apartment, Mr. Damon offered a showing of the same apartment that my sister was allegedly a prospective candidate for. Mr. Damon of Mercury real estate group, is not someone I would recommend anyone do business with. He is a con artist. Luckily for my sister her bank check had not yet been cashed and we were able to put a stop payment on it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DISHONEST MAN!!!
I would highly recommend Tim and Mercury Real Estate. We couldn't find an apartment that fit our needs anywhere and Tim found us just what we needed. We got in quickly and he has been very accommodating and responsive when we've needed anything, both pre and post move-in. Would do business with him again without question.
Called inquiring about an add in the Gardner news advertising mercury reality group with apartments for rent. I called and he set me up with a condo at ridge wood here in gardner. We looked at the apartment, stayed in touch and put a deposit down to hold it. Two weeks later, NEVER heard from him. Went to his office that said nothing about Mercury reality, filled out an application with his name at the top and signed a check made out to HIM. Nothing about the reality group. His is a scam artist. Thankfully i stopped the check before he cashed it, from what I've heard this isn't the first time. Beware!
Tim helped me and my fiance Luis Rosario get our first apartment together..... yes it took a couple of weeks but he was great to work with.. I appreciated his help ..... he is NOT a rip off....or scammer... despite what people say... You have to be patient but he done what he said he was going to do.... just wanted to let people know that the things that was said on here was not all true.... patience was all it took.....
